Hi, all -
Sorry for the delay but I was out of school for the summer....our home computer is absolutely AWFUL to work on, it's so slow. And I was busy with my girls!!
Taylor spent a week with Nani and Papa in Wenatchee and then a week at girl scout camp in Carnation. Then in August had her tonsils and adenoids removed, it was a slow slog getting back to 100% and she has had a nasty cough since then but I am hoping this year she won't have to miss so much school! She got two new kittens out of the deal, Nat and Luke who are just precious! Rockie thinks he has died and gone to heaven since there are two new playmates that never tire in the house. Mo on the other hand does not think this was a wise choice!!
Abby is almost 7.5 months old now, crawling all over the place and knows what she wants when she wants it. She says maaaaaa maaaaaa when I go out of the room! It is adorable!
Kris is busy at work, they are getting a lot of jobs (framing) and lots to bid so that is a blessing! He is gearing up for football and I'm not quite sure why he hasn't put up the Halloween decorations yet?? Last year he put them up in August, my fellow teachers I commuted with made fun of me for weeks!!
I am back teaching, VERY hard to leave Abby, but Mondays she is with Grammy Nona, and Papa Moose then Tues. and Weds. I am lucky to bring her with me to school! Thurs. and Fri. she goes to Mary's house in Maple Valley and loves it!! Carter is just a month younger and she has 3 toddlers who Abby madly crawls after! It's going to be a GREAT year!!! Post soon!!

Tastin' and Racin'
This past Sunday we headed down to Issaquah for the Tastin' and Racin' which is a classic car show and the hydros racing on Lake Washington. Taylor was at a friends house so we loaded up Abby and headed to the lake. We both loved looking at the cars the best, I think. We also enjoyed the sound of the hydros up so close and loud! A good time was had by all!

Arizona Vacation

Probably should have posted this awhile ago, just took me awhile to get the pictures downloaded. We went to Kris's brothers wedding in Phoenix Arizona right before I came back to work in April. We visited the Grand Canyon and stayed in Flagstaff for a few days. One day it was sunny and 70 degrees and the next day it was snowing! Go figure!
Our next stop was my best friend Shana's house. She also lives in Phoenix with her son Kyle and we stayed at their house for the next 2 days. Taylor & Kyle have known each other since Taylor was 1 1/2 and Kyle was 3 months old. They play real well together for about a day then fight like brother and sister, it's hilarious!

The next stop was the actual wedding. We had a great time meeting family of friends of Dawn and Tony!

Sweet Potatoes
Abby has once again reached a new milestone. She has began eating baby food. Over Memorial Day Weekend I went and bought a sweet potato for her, boiled it, blended it, added formula, and put in ice cube trays. She had previously tried rice cereal and let me know that it was not good by spitting it all out. So....the first time I gave her the sweet potatoes I mixed it with more milk to thin it out and she was not a fan. I was about to give up thinking it was
just too early, but instead tried the thick potato by itself. She devoured it! She ate it all hardly spilling a drop! She wore some, I wore some and there were orange boogers the next day but I think she liked it!
Bathtime!
I have explained to Taylor over and over again that ALL babies get the nudie pictures taken when they are little. She helped me take these pics of Abby at bath time! She also asked that I not tell her it was Taylor! She is just mortified to think that I have pics like this of her when she was a baby! Ahhhhh.....feels nice to know I have blackmail photos!

First Milestone!!!
On Mother's Day I got a super special gift from my Abby Paige......she rolled over from her front to her back. Taylor was holding a toy and she was craning her neck to look at it and she rolled over. She startled herself but I think Taylor and I laughing and coaxing her on at a high volume might have startled her more!! She is growing so fast! Here is a pic of her in her saucer that she can sit up in pretty well now!
Mother's Day Weekend
I started Sunday morning off at 5:00 am thanks to Miss Abigail Paige rising and shining before dawn, I guess she forgot it was Sunday and Mother's Day. But since I was up I decided to go for a walk with our dog Rockie, who couldn't believe his good luck, and Abby. It was a most beautiful morning, the frogs chirping, the lazy birds just getting up and the view of Mt. Rainier as I walked home was absolutely breathtaking. When I got back from the walk my sweet husband presented me with tickets to James Taylor in September who we love!! And he had previously tricked me when I asked if James was playing anywhere this summer he told me 'no' and I was so...... bummed!!! We saw James together at the first concert we ever went to, and were the youngest people there, but we both love his music and spent our one year anniversary watching him last year!
After that we headed off to church which was quite uplifting. Then Taylor and I went to get pedicures. I chose french and she got fluorescent pink! Man those toes are bright!! But her thinking was now it wouldn't come off and she wouldn't have to paint them anytime soon. That's my girl!!
Our last stop was dinner at the Mongolian Grill in Maple Valley where we ran into my mother and father in-law. So Papa Moose bought us dinner and we had a lovely chat, Abby cooperated and enjoyed her time looking outside and fun was had by all! Overall, it was a glorious enjoyable day!! I wish every day was Mother's Day!!! :)
